Jasmine Sina is set to begin her first season as the manager of operations for the Bison. She was a four-year captain in collegiate women's basketball, serving in the role for three of her four years at Binghamton and in her one season as a graduate student at St. John's.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics at Binghamton, Sina went on to complete an MPS in sport management at St. John's in 2019. Following her final season, Sina furthered her professional development by being selected as one of 56 women's basketball players to participate in the WBCA "So You Want to Be a Coach" Program.
Sina also participated in the Big East Transition Game while at St. John's. The interactive program gave her the opportunity to network with panelists, including the president of the Connecticut Sun in the WNBA and the Big East commissioner.
While at Binghamton, Sina was a member of the Intercollegiate Athletic Board and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She was also the head entertainment and marketing coordinator in the first event ran by the Explore, Engage, and B You group, helping raise $3,000.
Additional professional experience for Sina includes a social media and marketing internship with Hoop Heaven, an internship in the Binghamton athletic department, and work with numerous basketball summer camps.
Sina appeared in all 92 games in her three seasons that she played at Binghamton. She was the 2015 America East Rookie of the Year after ranking fourth in the conference with 14.8 points per game. That scoring total was the eighth best by a freshman in the nation that season.
